Matilda the Musical

South East Consortium took a group to see Matilda the Musical at the Shubert Theatre in Manhattan. We boarded the Metro North train out of Mamaroneck and rode the train all the way to Grand Central Terminal. Our show started at 2:30pm so we decided to grab some lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

After lunch we headed to Shubert Theatre to find our seats for the big performance. Since this was a autism friendly showing of Matilda TDF (Autism Theatre Initiative) associates gave out some gave out some great things to those attending such as squeeze balls and sensory items. Everyone really had a great time!

South East at the Rodeo!

South East planned a trip to see the action packed professional bull riding event at the Madison Square Garden over the weekend. Everyone cheered the bull riders on as we watched to see how many seconds they were able to stay on the bucking bull.

After an exciting afternoon we ended our day at Two Boots Pizzeria in Grand Central. Everyone enjoyed a couple slices of delicious pizza before boarding the train back home.

Bayville Winter Wonderland

South East Consortium took a trip to Bayville Winter Wonderland on January 4th. We all hopped on the SEC bus ready for an adventure, and an adventure is what we had!

Once we arrived we decided to eat lunch at ShipWreck Tavern and it was delicious! After that we decided to explore the area, we did activities such as Santa's Toy Factory Fun House, Captain Bay's Yo Ho Holiday Light Show, Bayville Holiday Express Train, Bradley Bay's Rock Climbing, Holiday Arts and Crafts and Arcade fun! It was a great way to officially say goodbye to the holiday season!
